This year, as our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Myanmar, and beyond endure unprecedented challenges, the Council stands in solidarity against all forms of oppression.
In 2024, we rallied over 1,000 Chicagoans on 20 buses to Washington D.C. for the historic national march for Gaza. Our commitment extended further: engaging with Illinois legislators during our annual IMAD, advocating for a ceasefire in Gaza through city-wide billboards, and tirelessly promoting peace and justice.
Beyond advocacy, community support lies at the heart of our mission. We’ve dedicated over $1,000,000 to rental assistance, provided winter kits and food to underserved communities, held educational seminars for non-profit organizations, and so much more.
Join us as we commemorate 32 years of uplifting communities and making a lasting impact. Together, we can continue to make a difference!
