Our mission is to be the unifying federation of Islamic organizations of greater Chicagoland, the leading advocate of Muslim community interests and a catalyst for enriching American society.

First Muslim Business Luncheon

CIOGC partnered with The Illinois Muslim Chamber of Commerce brought a special networking luncheon for area business owners.  At the luncheon there were opportunities for subject matter experts to discuss:

  • Earned Retention Credit
  • Minority Certification for federal and state procurement
  • Contract opportunities with state agencies

The Council was proud to partner with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DECO), Office of Minority Economic Empowerment (OMEE), State of Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion, Illinois Muslim Commerce Commission. We had close to 200 Muslim owned businesses joining us at this very exciting event!

Our presentations provided vital information including opportunities to work with state government, seeking grant opportunities and minority, employee retention credit (ERC) and female owned business certifications.

The Council was honored to have provided this platform for the networking of our Muslim business community.
