CIOGC successfully held its annual Teacher Training Workshop on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Mecca Center in Willowbrook. This program, designed for Sunday school teachers and anyone interested in Islamic education, offered certified professional development hours and featured sessions by Dr. Ahmed Arafat, Dr. Nader Najjar, and Dr. Linda Hamadeh.

Topics included building a spiritual foundation for teaching, applying restorative practices, and transformative learning through the Hadith of Angel Jibril. The workshop continues to serve as a valuable opportunity for educators to enhance their teaching skills and spiritual approach in classrooms across Chicagoland.
