The Chicago Crescent is the Council’s highly anticipated monthly newspaper that reports on news, announcements and happenings in and about the greater Chicagoland Muslim community. Since 2006, the Chicago Crescent has been the leading monthly Muslim newspaper in the greater Chicagoland metropolitan region.
The uniqueness of the Chicago Crescent is based on the specific community it serves. The Chicago Crescent’s mission is to serve the over 400,000 diverse Muslims living in the greater Chicagoland region. The Chicago Crescent team is dedicated to reporting news and information that is as unique and diverse as the Chicagoland Muslim community, one of the most diverse Muslim communities in the United States.
The newspaper is distributed to the Council’s member organizations and is available at mosques, schools, businesses and libraries. Along with the monthly print edition of the newspaper, downloadable digital PDF versions are also available via our Crescent Archive section below.
