The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago is a member of the United States Census Bureau’s Faith Based
Complete Count Committee.
CIOGC has over 50 active member organizations comprising its own Complete Count Committee.
The CIOGC Complete Count Committee facilitates community wide education and promotion of the census by
effectively communicating and conveying the census registration to Chicagoland’s 400,000 Muslims through:
Dissemination of pledge cards
Webinars
In-person trainings
Activity booths
Hosting census job fairs
