CIOGC Executive Director, Tabassum Haleem will be speaking on behalf of the Muslim community at a press conference on Thursday June 30 along with Christian and Jewish leaders to call on Senator Durbin to take leadership to end the immoral and punishing blockade that has sealed off 1.8 million Palestinians in Gaza from the world. Following interfaith prayers, clergy and their supporters will deliver hand signed petitions to Senator Durbin’s office.
A petition with more than 1200 hand-signed signatures will be delivered to Senator Durbin.
