The growing challenge for nonprofit organizations, including Muslim nonprofit organizations, is sustainability.  As customary sources of revenue shrink, we must cultivate new sources of revenue to sustain our operation and to foster our continued growth.

Indiana University has developed specialized studies in the area of philanthropy, with a focus on strategies for financially sustaining nonprofit organizations.  They offer course studies at its Bloomington, Indiana campus, benefitting nonprofit organizations, both inside and outside Indiana.

The Center for Muslim Philanthropy, also located in Bloomington, Indiana, is a nonprofit organization focused on cultivating professional fundraisers within the Muslim community.

Today, they have announced an affiliated program with Indiana University to offer an introductory program for nonprofit organizations and their leadership to learn fundamentals of fundraising and strategies for financial sustainability.
The program:

  • mirrors the courses offered at Indiana University
  • will be taught by Indiana University professors
  • will be held in the Chicago area
  • will provide real-time strategies that can be immediately implemented by your organization; AND
  • registration costs are slashed to encourage our participation: (as low as $250.00 per workshop)
