2/3/17 – Join us for “How to Challenge the #MuslimBan” this Sunday!

Join CIOGC, Senator Richard Durbin, and faith and civic organizations this Sunday, February 5 at Islamic Foundation in Villa Park to address President Trump’s executive order to ban Syrian refugees and visitors from seven Muslim countries among other restrictions on travel.

WHAT: How to Challenge the #MuslimBan
WHEN: Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 1pm – 3pm
WHERE: Islamic Foundation – Villa Park, 300 W Highridge Rd, Villa Park, IL 60181
WHO: Legal experts, public officials, Congressional leaders and community and faith leaders

The discussion will focus on the following questions:

  • How does the unfair executive order affect our community?
  • What should we expect?
  • How can we build coalitions to change it and mobilize the broader community?

Legal, political and community organizing efforts will be addressed by legal experts, public officials, Congressional leaders and community and faith leaders.
