2/24/16- Early Voting in Illinois February 29 through March 14

For the March 15, 2016 Presidential Primary Election, traditional Early Voting will take place from February 29 – March 14, 2016. Early Voting locations can be found here. Any qualified registered voter may vote prior to Election Day at any site established for early voting by the election authority. Registration services also are available at all Early Voting sites. Any voter who needs to register for the first time or file an address change or name change must present two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter’s current address.

A major reason for early voting is to encourage greater participation in the election process. People who travel for business, work long hours or are otherwise inconvenienced by the hours the polls are open on Election Day may find it easier to vote early. The votes cast during the early voting period will not be counted until after the polls close on Election Day. For more information on voter registration, please click here. Are you registered to vote? Exercise your voting right and fulfill your civic responsibility!
