11/11/15- CIOGC 23rd Annual CommUnity Dinner Program Is Now Posted

The program for the 23rd Annual CommUnity Dinner is now posted! The evening of Sunday, November 15 promises many highlights and a great speaker line up, featuring our Keynote Dr. Dalia Fahmy, Safaa Zarzour and Dr. Rami Nashashibi, among others.

This being Sunday night, it is crucial to start the program on time to end it before 9 pm. Guests are strongly urged to arrive on time. Registration will begin at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served sharply at 6:30 pm. Please arrive promptly to enjoy the delicious meal in a relaxed setting. CIOGC looks forward to welcoming all guests in an inspirational evening that will celebrate achievements and bring together the Muslim community. Highlights of the program include the recognition of three Top Muslim Achievers for 2015. The Achievers are professionals who have excelled in their fields of work. The dinner will also honor Islamic School valedictorians. In addition, the dinner will showcase the Council’s achievements of the past year in areas of civic engagement, youth education, building community resiliency, interfaith work, relationship building and media. The Annual CommUnity Dinner usually brings together a thousand Muslims of all ethnic backgrounds, as well as Government and Religious Leaders.

Dinner guests will also receive the first copies of CIOGC’s Yearbook, being published as a special edition of Chicago Crescent.
