This Sunday, hundreds of Chicago-area Muslims and their families attended
RadioIslam’s MuslimFest for a day of Islamic entertainment. MuslimFest featured
internationally acclaimed stars of Islamic entertainment. Artists such as Dawud
Wharnsby Ali, Native Deen, Miz Undastood and Tamara Simpkins entertained the
audience in different venues, including a women-only gala, featuring female
artists. Children enjoyed a puppet show of the stars of Adam’s World. The
nationally known comedy troupe Allah Made Me Funny also performed. Proceeds from
MuslimFest will benefit RadioIslam.
