MEC Hosts Third Annual MSA Basketball Tournament

The Sunday playoffs of the all-city MSA basketball tournament ended four days of strenuous and good-natured competition between 25 teams. The basketball tournament is held twice a year; once in the summer and once in the winter. According to Salman Mohiuddin, one of the tournament organizers, last week’s tournament boasted such a growing number of attendees, competitors and spectators, that the organizers are looking into how to accommodate such a large number of people for the winter tournament. Ruckus, a five-man team from Chicago, won the tournament and received a trophy for their efforts, during Sunday evening’s award ceremony.
