Council Participates in Press Conference about Civil Rights on September 11 Anniversary

The press conference emphasized the deterioration of civil rights and civil liberties in America over the past twp years, and culminated with the court filing of a request for information about all those detained under the special registration process. The press conference was cosponsored by CIOGC, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant & Refugee Rights, the Midwest Immigrant & Human Rights Center, and the ACLU.
