Police Executive Research Forum Showcases Islam Diversity Training Video to Top Law Enforcement Officials from Across the U.S.

6/5-6/03: In a two-day conference hosted by the prestigious Washington-based Police Executive Research Forum, federal & local law enforcement officials from across the nation engaged in critical discussions about providing police services in immigrant communities, especially among Muslims & Arabs. The conference was held in Chicago to highlight the productive relationship between the Chgo Police Dept. & the Muslim-American & Sikh communities. Council Chairman Kareem Irfan & Council Director Amina Saeed, along with Khaled Elkhatib of the ADC, participated in the conference by invitation. Participants watched & received a copy of the diversity training video about Islam that the Chgo Police Dept. has produced in collaboration with the Council.
