Council Participates in Interfaith Gathering to Support Peace & Oppose War

On Sunday, February 23rd, prominent Council members participated in a gathering of interfaith leaders opposed to the war. The event began at Holy Name Cathedral with a service dedicated to those who would lose their lives if a war takes place. It continued with a procession down Michigan Ave. to the Episcopal Church Plaza, where Chairman Kareem Irfan delivered a strong message in support of peace.
