CHICAGO'S NEW GATEWAY TO ISLAM IS ON-LINE
AT WWW.CIOGC.ORG

The Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago (a federation representing over 400,000 area Muslims), proudly announces the formal launch of its website, www.ciogc.org. This website contains information about the Council, its committees and its activities throughout Chicagoland. The website is also a resource for statements and press releases issued by the Council of Islamic Organizations.

The website will soon expand to include a primer on Islam, the faith of over one-fifth of the world's population. Also planned is a media resource center, where journalists can obtain contact information for experts and scholars with knowledge of specific areas of Islam. Future additions to the site will include links to other Chicagoland and national Islamic organizations.
