Muslims on Catholic Radio

Last Wednesday, Ms. Muneer Aliuddin, the Council's Director of Outreach, and Council spokesperson Ms. Janaan Hashim were interviewed on the Archidiocese of Chicago radio show, Catholics in Dialogue. They discussed the month of Ramadan, the upcoming Iftaar the Council will host with Cardinal George and the history of the Catholic-Muslim dialogue in Chicago. Ms. Hashim touched upon the meaning and importance of Ramadan for Muslims, and Ms. Aliuddin spoke on the history of Catholic-Muslim dialogue and the Council's role in that dialogue, as well as the upcoming Iftaar with the Cardinal. Ms. Aliuddin was also asked to share her thoughts on the late Pope John Paul II and on Pope Benedict's efforts in working with Muslims.
