The Council hosted a workshop designed to show mosques and Islamic organizations new ways of raising funds at the International House of the University of Chicago on Saturday. Ms. Adeela Qureshi of the National Center on Poverty Law presented tips on grant writing, while Mr. Rachid Belbachir of NextStep Marketing discussed mail order fundraising strategies. Council Chairman Abdul Malik Mujahid discussed how to raise funds through existing donors. The workshop was open to both members and non-members.
