Dear brothers & Sisters
If you are following calculation decision of Fiqh Council/ISNA regarding Ramadan, tonight September 12th, 2007 Taraweeh will be offered and the first day of fasting will be tomorrow.
If you plan to follow opinion based on the US moonsighting, the Chicago Hilal Committee met this evening and confirmed sightings in Illinois.
Also, please check out two excel sheets attached with very useful information:
- Ramadan Plan & Report.xls can be customized with your personal goals, plans, and reporting for Ramadan. It also contains a timetable which reflect down town Chicago timings for Suhur, Iftar, and Prayers. You can fill that in to develop a daily schedule for yourself.
- Taraweeh Location document has 69 locations where Taraweeh prayers will be offered in Ramadan. If your Taraweeh location is missing from it please let me know at 312-506-0070.
