Eid on Saturday Dec 30th & Sunday Dec 31st
Saudi Arabia has announced that Eid al-Adha, will be on December 30, as the day of Arafat is December 29.
The Chicago Hilal Committee has, however, determined that there was no moon sighting in the United States.
Consequently, the Eid Day will be Sunday, December 31, 2006.

- Sacrifice is a Sunnah. Please contribute your $150 share to www.ChicagoMuslims.com for sacrifice which will be distributed to the poor people of Chicago.

- Say No To Israeli Torture: make dua for Br. Salah after Eid Salah who is being tried based on evidence acquired through torture.
- Chicago Crescent is being highly welcomed by Muslims and our neighbors. The latest issue of monthly Chicago Crescent has arrived. If you need extra copies for your community and for you to distribute to your neighbors and friends.
- This year ends with Christian (Christmas), Jewish (Chanukah) and Muslim (Eid) days of celebration coinciding. Remember that Allah has asked us to greet people.
