The next Faith and Health Quarterly Meeting will feature the work of Dr. Chisina Kapungu of the UIC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kapungu’s research uses evidence-based approaches to show how strengthening family relationships within a faith context may be an effective way to prevent HIV/AIDS in African American girls. Mothers and daughters who are active in her program will also be presenting. Please send this announcement out to anyone you think may be interested in attending this program. Note that we are holding this meeting in the evening to make it easier to attend for those who lead health initiatives in congregations but who work during the day.
